Olivia, 14, won the state Level 5 girls' overall gymnastics championship for ages 12-15. In just her first year of competition, she swept all four apparatuses and had a high score of 9.2 in the floor exercise to win the championship with a composite score of 35.

ST. JOHNS, MICH.
Jim, 17, set a national record of 580 points (out of a possible 600) for his level of competition while finishing first for the fifth consecutive year in the young adult bare-bow division at the National Field Archery Association's indoor tournament.

VIISHA SEDLAK
BOULDER, COLO.
Sedlak, 41, a fitness consultant, set a women's masters record in the 10-km racewalk with a time of 49:14.9, breaking her world record of 50:47.0. She also holds two other world records in women's masters racewalk events.

CAMIE HOSHINO
HILO, HAWAII
Camie, 18, a recent graduate of Waiakea High, shot a final-round 78 to win the girls' division of the national high school golf tournament at the Nashville Golf and Athletic Club. Camie, with a 230 total, beat a pair of competitors by two shots.

MARTHA NOFFSINGER
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIF.
Noffsinger, 22, an All-America shortstop on the Fresno State softball team, set two NCAA records during the 1990 season. She established marks for career hits (327) and for hits in a season (93), which she shares with teammate Julie Smith.

MARSHALL BURROUGHS
RALEIGH, N.C.
Marshall, a recent graduate of Broughton High, defeated Bert Bolick of Burlington Williams High 6-4, 6-2 to win his second consecutive state 4A boys' tennis title and lead the Caps to their third straight team crown. His high school record was 102-5.
