Six years ago Hayden (Sidd) Finch, the rookie and mystic with the 168-mph fastball, was the sensation of the New York Mets (April 1, 1985). After losing his pinpoint control, he returned to the Tibetan Himalayas, where he found a calling higher than baseball. Now the owner of a successful chain of dry-cleaning shops, he travels from store to store on a motorcycle once owned by Lawrence of Arabia.
