Sharon Goldbrenner
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, N.J.
Goldbrenner, 30, Trenton State's women's field hockey and lacrosse coach, guided both teams to Division III national titles in 1990-91. In six years at the school, Goldbrenner is 124-11-3 in hockey and 91-12-1 in lacrosse.

William Maher
LINCOLN, R.I.
William, 13, finished first in 11 of the 12 events he entered in the 11-12 category at the New England Age Group Swimming Championships. He also holds state records in nine of those events.

Kathy Blake
PASO ROBLES, CALIF.
Kathy, a senior pitcher for the Paso Robles High Softball team, threw two no-hitters this season (25-0 and 12-0 wins over Morro Bay and Corcoran, respectively). In 177 innings she did not allow an earned run.

DENVER
Mike, 18, was a triple winner at the U.S. junior (18 and under) badminton meet, with victories in the singles, doubles (with Al Hunhausen of Boulder, Colo.) and mixed doubles (with Kathy Zimmerman of Denver).

Rosie Gaines
VAIDEN, MISS.
Rosie, a recent graduate of Vaiden High, won the Class 1A state girls' 100- (12.34) and 200-meter (25.3) dashes and the long jump (17'2"). She also ran anchor on the victorious 4 x 100, 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 relays.

Bob Yarrow
MIDDLE HADDAM, CONN.
Yarrow, 58, a high school vice-principal born with only one arm, won the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame Grand Masters' (age 55 and over) leg of the Tour of Somerville by covering the 10-mile road course in 22:38.
