Ryan and Rodd, 18-year-old twins, play catcher and second base, respectively, for the Edmond Bulldogs of the state American Legion Majors Baseball Association. In a doubleheader in which the Bulldogs beat the Dallas Dodgers 2-1 and Oklahoma City's Reynold's Lettering 14-2, the Meltons each went 4 for 6, all doubles. The twins also had two RBIs each, scored two times and stole two bases. By the way, Ryan wears number 22.

Clawson, 18, a member of the U.S. team in white-water slalom canoeing, won the silver medal in the men's singles and a gold medal as part of the team competition at the world championships.

LOOMIS, CALIF.
Jenny, 16, and Dragonfire Kublakhan, her 8-year-old Morgan gelding, won the world championship in dressage for Morgans and Grand National gold medals in dressage and hunt seat over fences, both in Oklahoma City.
