Freeman, a senior at Florida, set a world record (7.34) in the first heat of the 55-meter hurdles at the SEC indoor track and field championships. She went on to win that event and also the 55- and 200-meter dashes.
Chuck Brewster
PARK FOREST, ILL.
Brewster, a senior at Wisconsin-Oshkosh, is the reigning U.S. Gymnastics Federation collegiate-division champion in the floor exercises and vault. He also volunteers in the ATA Boys youth gymnastics program.
Gail Pebworth
CRAWFORDSVILLE, IND.
Pebworth, 52, the men's swimming and diving coach at Wabash College, guided the Little Giants to a third straight unbeaten season in Division III competition. During her eight seasons, the Little Giants have gone 55-10.
Reggie Welch
CAMDEN, N.J.
Reggie, a 6'5" senior at Woodrow Wilson High, scored 61 points in a 100-40 win over Deptford High and 48 in a 79-59 win over Willingboro High. He averaged 29.5 points a game this year and 25.8 in his varsity career.
Aaron Mickiewicz

Aaron and Adam, identical twins and senior wrestlers at Green Run High and Kellam High, respectively, both advanced to the state Group AAA 112-pound final. This season the two combined for a 66-2 record; their only losses came when they split a pair of matches against one another. Rather than wrestle each other for the state championship, the Mickiewiczes decided to forfeit the match and were declared co-runners-up.
