King and Keenan, a basketball forward and guard, respectively, at Florida Tech, led the Lady Panthers to a 25-4 season record. King, a junior, averaged 29.5 points per game to win the Division II women's scoring crown. She was also named Sunshine State Conference women's Player of the Year. Keenan's 227-point scoring average was eighth in Division II. She made 11 three-pointers in a 106-52 win over Flagler College to tie a Division II women's record.

Jim Turnbull
MAHOPAC, N.Y.
Turnbull, 53, the lacrosse coach at Yorktown High, has won 312 of 366 career games and three state championships (1984, '89, and '91). The Cornhuskers' 19-year coach is also a six-time Section I coach of the year.

Ugur Taner
BELLEVUE, WASH.
Ugur, a senior at Newport High, set three state records at the recent state swimming championships. His marks were set in the 50-yard freestyle (20.02), the 100 freestyle (43.73) and the 100 butterfly (48.14).

Lisa Raymond
WAYNE, PA.
Raymond, a freshman tennis player at Florida, won the NCAA women's indoor title by beating Laura Randmaa of LSU 6-0, 6-2. She became the first player to win both the NCAA clay and indoor championships.

Ric Lessmann
ST. LOUIS
Lessmann, 54, baseball coach at St. Louis Community College at Meramec for 26 years, guided the Warriors to a 9-1 defeat of John Wood Community College for his 900th win. He has had 23 NJCAA All-Americas.
