Snow and Manarino, the baseball and Softball coaches, respectively, at Long Beach State, earned their 300th career wins in the same week. Snow, who is in his eighth season, earned number 300 with a come-from-behind 6-5 victory over Pepperdine. He also serves as an assistant coach on the U.S. Olympic baseball team. Manarino, in his ninth year, won his 300th game when the 16th-ranked 49ers defeated Minnesota 8-5.
Maureen Magauran
ENFIELD, CONN.
Magauran, a senior goalkeeper on the Yale women's ice hockey team, was named Division I Player of the Year by the American Women's Hockey Coaches Association. She amassed a 90.7% save percentage.
Corliss Williamson
RUSSELLVILLE, ARK.
Corliss, a 6'7" senior basketball center at Russellville High, was named Gatorade National High School Player of the Year. He averaged 28.1 points, 9.6 rebounds and 4.0 blocked shots per game this season.
Jason Terry
INDIANAPOLIS
Jason, a senior wrestler at Cathedral High, pinned Devon Nelson (39-1) of Mishawaka High to win the 103-pound state title and an Indiana high school-record 50th match this season. He has a career mark of 166-9.
Kendal Hansen
FREDERICKSBURG, VA.
Hansen, a sophomore swimmer at Emory University, won the 100-yard breaststroke at the Division III women's championships for the second straight year. She earned All-America honors in four events this season.
