Amanda and Anna, both seniors at St. Ursula Academy, led the girls' soccer and volleyball teams, respectively, to state championships on the same day. Amanda, a 1993 All-America forward, had an assist in the state Division I title game, a 4-1 victory over Westerville North. She finished the season as the team leader in goals (26) and assists (19). The Bulldogs wound up with a 21-1-2 record and ranked fourth in the country. Anna, a setter and a three-year starter, served for 15 points in St. Ursula's 15-5, 15-8 victory over Thornville Sheridan in the state Division II championship game. In leading the Bulldogs to a 22-4 record, she had 55 aces in 202 attempts, a .980 setting percentage and a .960 passing percentage.

Kevin Anderson Jr.
BELLEVILLE, ILL.
Kevin, 11, a running back and defensive end, led his junior midget team to an 11-1 season. He rushed for 1,435 yards, scored 14 touchdowns and made 95 tackles. He also caught 13 passes for 374 yards and ran back 11 punts for 403. Since taking up organized football five years ago, Kevin has accounted for 9,050 yards of total offense.

Rechelle Hanson
CHINO HILLS, CALIF.
Hanson, 18, the 1993 women's national world-class singles champion in roller skating, won the gold medal at this year's world roller-skating championships, in Bordeaux, France. She was the silver medalist at the worlds in '91 and won the roller-skating competition at the last two Olympic Festivals, in 1991 and '93.

Richard Judd
COLUMBIA CITY, IND.
Judd, 60, the president of a plastics-molding company, won the 60-to-64 age group in the 200-pound class at the world masters' weightlifting championships. Judd lifted 198 pounds in the snatch and 254 in the clean and jerk, for a total of 452 pounds, all world records. He has also won 10 U.S. masters' weightlifting and powerlifting titles.

Gitta Jensen
ESBJERG, DENMARK
Jensen, a junior at Southern Methodist, led the Lady Mustangs to the university team crown at the U.S. Open swimming championships. She won three individual races, the 50-, 100- and 200-meter freestyles, and anchored SMU's victorious 4 X 100 and 4 X 200 free-relay teams. Jensen is a 10-time Danish national champion.
