Allison, a junior goaltender, and Tory, a junior defenseman, led Maine's ice hockey team to 5-1 wins over Boston College and Northeastern. Through last Friday the No. 1-ranked Black Bears stood at 26-2-6, and Allison, who had 23 saves against the Eagles and 22 against the Huskies, led the nation in goals-against average (2.47) and wins (26). Since January, Allison's GAA has been 1.49. Tory had two assists while anchoring the Black Bears' defense in the victories over Boston College and Northeastern. Through last Friday he led all defensemen in the nation in points, with 41 (eight goals and 33 assists).
Jeremie Perry

LIVERPOOL, N.Y.
Perry, a senior at Williams College, and Rhines, a junior at Villanova, each earned an individual NCAA cross-country championship. Perry won the 8K Division III men's title, in 24:56.3, while leading the Purple Cows to the 1994 team crown. Perry was also named U.S. Track Coaches Association Cross Country Division III Athlete of the Year. Rhines, who won the 5K NCAA Division I women's crown, in 16:31.2, paced the Wildcats to their sixth straight women's team title. It was also the sixth consecutive year that a Villanova woman has won the individual crown. As a sophomore, Rhines had finished second at the NCAAs, in 16:44.4.
Chad Bickley
SANTA MARIA, CALIF.
Chad, a senior guard at Valley Christian Academy, sank 21 three-pointers in a 118-70 win over Sacramento Citadel High to break his own U.S. high school game mark of 20. He is also the national career three-point record holder, with 481 through last Friday, at which time he had scored 2,455 points.
Priscilla Pacheco
AUSTIN, TEXAS
Pacheco, a senior outside hitter on the Georgia women's volleyball team, led the nation in kills in 1994 with 748 and set a school career mark with 2,638. She also holds the NCAA record for kills in a game (20). Pacheco, a two-time SEC Player of the Year, was named All-America for the second time.
