If you want a supermodel who can put a football through the
uprights from 20 yards out, look no further than Kathy Ireland.
She honed her booting for her role as a placekicker in the 1991
film Necessary Roughness. But no roughness has been necessary to
make Ireland a star in SI's swimsuit issues. She has made the
cover three times, including the '89 issue celebrating 25 years
of swimsuit specials. And that's nothing to kick about.
