All that glitters is not gold. Sometimes it's silver, as was the
case with the suit that Vendela wore on the cover of the 1993
swimsuit issue. She certainly shone in it, and more than a few
people took notice. "Overnight I became a household name," she
said. This year SI Television chose Vendela to host its swimsuit
show, and it turned out that the star of the silver suit was as
good as gold on the screen. We can't say that we're surprised.
