FORECAST: Another muggy day is on tap, with a high of 91--but
only a 20% chance of rain.
HOT TICKET: China vs. U.S. in women's volleyball (VY81721). In a
match pitting the top two teams in Pool A, the Americans get
their sternest test of the Games to date against a Chinese team
that swept them in four matches during a tour of California this
spring.
WHAT IF...the U.S. beats eight-time Olympic champion India in
men's field hockey today at Morris Brown? It would be a huge
upset and the first Olympic victory in the sport for the U.S.,
which is 0-21-4 overall in the Games and 0-2 in Atlanta.
