Gymnastics Stacey, a junior at Barrington High, won the girls' state all-around title with first-place finishes in the uneven bars (9.75) and the balance beam (9.70). She was undefeated this season in the all-around while leading the Phillies to the regional title and a 10-1 record.

Basketball Erin, a senior guard at Claysburg-Kimmel High, ended her career with 1,000 points and holds the girls' school record for three-pointers (194) despite being born without a left forearm and hand. She is also ranked among the Lady Bulldogs' alltime leaders in points, steals and assists.
COLOR PHOTO: DAVID MACDONALD Andy Strout, Cape Elizabeth, Maine Tennis Strout, 42, coach at Cape Elizabeth High, was named national girls' coach of the year after guiding the Capers to a 16-0 record and their eighth state title in as many years. He also has led the Cape Elizabeth boys' team to a 322-30 record and nine state titles in 19 years.
COLOR PHOTO: GARY GAYNOR Nick Frost, Tucson Wrestling Nick, a senior at Salpointe Catholic High, became the first to win four 5A individual Arizona state championships with a 10-4 decision over Jon Passey of Mountain View High in the 152-pound class. He finished his four-year varsity career with a 145-3 record.

Track and Field Clark, a senior at Florida, became the third athlete to win the SEC indoor crown in the same event for four straight years when she won the 800 meters in a meet-record time of 2:01.84, more than four seconds better than that of second-place finisher Claudine Williams of LSU.
COLOR PHOTO: KYLE CHRISTY Taylor Spivey, Atlanta Swimming Taylor, a junior at the Lovett School, won the Class A state title in the 100-yard backstroke (57.61) for the second straight year and her first crown in the 100 freestyle (52.80). Her time of 56.60 in a backstroke heat will make her a high school All-America.
