Swimming Rendall, a junior at Emory, was named the University Athletic Association's co-swimmer of the year after winning seven conference titles. His time of 49.41 seconds in the 100-yard butterfly broke the league record and qualified him for the Division III championships.
COLOR PHOTO: JOHNSON PHOTO PLUS Kristina Behnfeldt, Defiance, Ohio Basketball Behnfeldt, a senior at Marshall, became the only player in school history to finish her career with more than 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. She led the Thundering Herd in both categories in each of her four seasons and averaged 18.6 points and 9.7 rebounds for her career.

Wrestling Fox, 48, coach at Ponderosa High, has led the Bruins to a dual-meet record of 185-2 over the last 10 years and holds the state high school record for consecutive dual-meet wins, with 104. Ponderosa has won seven sectional titles and 20 league titles in his 21 years.
COLOR PHOTO: DAVID DOYLE Jessica Jennings, Washington Track and Field Jessica, a junior at H.D. Woodson High, won the 500 meters in 1:23.5 and repeated as 300-meter champion (45.32) at the D.C. Interscholastic Athletic Association's indoor championships. She was also a member of the victorious 4x200 and 4x400 relay teams.

Powerlifting Scott, 17, set three national records in the 319-pound class of the AAU high school raw division in squat (546 pounds), bench press (407) and deadlift (556). He was an all-state offensive lineman at Clarendon High and has accepted a football scholarship from Arkansas.

Field Hockey/Ice Hockey Lauren, a senior at Princeton Day School, led the Panthers to their fourth straight state championship in field hockey and their first title in ice hockey. She was the top scorer in Mercer County for both sports and was a national high school All-America.
