Kelley lost only one game during his four tournament matches.

Tennis Pitts, a junior at Georgia, clinched the Bulldogs' third NCAA men's team crown with a 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 defeat of Jong Min-Lee of UCLA in the decisive match at No. 4 singles. Georgia beat the No. 1-ranked Bruins 4-3, and Pitts finished the season with a 24-11 record.

She will play at Loyola of Chicago on a partial scholarship next year.

Softball Jen, a senior lefthanded pitcher at Bishop Ireton High, won eight games in eight days, including among those victories a perfect game, another no-hitter and two one-hitters. She pitched every inning but two this season for the 21-9 Cardinals and struck out 208 batters in 184 innings.

Track and Field Jenkins, a senior at Ball State, won the NCAA title in the women's 200 meters with a time of 22.29, the fourth fastest ever by a collegiate sprinter and the third fastest this year, behind Marion Jones (21.81) and Jamaican Olympian Beverly McDonald (22.23).

Lacrosse Robinson, 31, the head coach at Mount Hebron High for four years and an assistant there for the four years before that, led the 20-0 Vikings to the Class 1A-2A state crown for the third straight year. The title was Mount Hebron's seventh in eight years and gave Robinson a 70-7 record as a head coach.
