Action Shooting Goloski, a sergeant in the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, was named Army female athlete of the year for winning the women's open and limited national crowns and the women's world speed-shooting title. She also finished second at the women's world practical-shooting championships.

Soccer Carruth, a junior forward at St. Lawrence University, scored three goals, including two game-winners, as the Saints won five NCAA playoff games en route to the Division III title. Five of Carruth's 10 goals during the Saints' 16-0 regular season also were game-winners.

Basketball Ruth, a junior guard at Pine Ridge High, had 77 three-pointers and averaged 29.4 points a game as she led the Lady Thorpes to a 16-6 record and the Class A girls' district championship game. She averaged 24.8 points and had 112 three-pointers over the previous two seasons combined.

He had a 1.94 goals-against average and a .935 save percentage as the Wildcats extended their overall record to 10-2-1.

In four varsity seasons, during which the Jimmies won two 2A state championships, he had 258 PATs and 18 field goals for 312 kicking points. He also quarterbacked the team as a senior.

Institute of Technology, had a women's Division III single-season-record 1,924 assists on her way to becoming the career divisional leader with 7,014. She led the Wildcats to a 33-9 record and the third round of the division tournament.
