Through Sunday he led Hilliard Darby in goals with 31 and was second in assists with 16.

COLOR PHOTO: JUSTIN KASE CONDER Margie Wright, Clovis, Calif., Softball Wright, 47, the softball coach at Fresno State, guided the Bulldogs to the Western Athletic Conference championship for the third straight year with a 2-0 victory over Loyola Marymount. She's the winningest softball coach in NCAA history, with a record of 938-302-3 through Sunday.

COLOR PHOTO: KMG PHOTOGRAPHY Alon Eizenman, Toronto, Hockey Eizenman, a junior forward at Penn State, was named the American Collegiate Hockey Association's player of the year after leading the Icers in goals (32) and assists (43) and scoring the winning goal in a 3-2 victory over Eastern Michigan to give Penn State the ACHA title.

GOINGS Antoine Huskey, Detroit, Track and Field Antoine, a senior sprinter at Mackenzie High, won the 100 meters in 10.44--the second-fastest time for a Michigan schoolboy--and the 200 in 22.50 and anchored the winning 4x200 relay team to lead the Stags to the boys' championship at the Kalamazoo Loy Norrix Invitational.

COLOR PHOTO: BOB STOCKFIELD Anna McKnight, White Hall, Md., Equestrian Anna, 15, and her horse Marina were named junior jumper champions for an event-record four straight weeks after beating out 80 other contestants each week at the Palm Beach Equestrian Festival. Anna and Marina also placed second in the junior amateur classic division at the St. Christopher Horse Show.
