Tennis Andrew, a senior at Williamstown High, beat Bryan Stonestreet of Bluefield High 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 to win the boys' singles title at the Class AA-A championship for the third straight time. The victory was his 85th in a row and pushed his varsity career record to 108-5.

Boxing Jared, 17, scored a third-round knockout over Carlton Odell, 26, to win the 119-pound open division of the Louisiana Golden Gloves Championship for the third straight year.
