He also tied an unofficial school mark for most dunks in that same game, with five.

COLOR PHOTO: JOHN BARD Olga Tefft, WARWICK, R.I.Golf Tefft, 71, won the Quidnessett Country Club women's title for the 14th time, beating nine-time champion Margaret Shanahan, 56, of North Kingstown, 2 up in the final. Tefft, who first claimed the crown in 1963, has won it at least once in each of the last five decades.

COLOR PHOTO: JEAN DIXON Danny Wolf, RENO Cross-country Danny, 18, set a course record at the Junior Olympics National Cross Country meet on the 5-km Rancho San Rafael Park course in Reno, with a winning time of 16:30. He's also the high school boys' cross-country and two-mile state champion.

Football Amin, a junior quarterback at Menlo College in Atherton, Calif., broke a Division III record for passing in a single game when he threw for 731 yards in a loss to Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. Amin led the division in passing touchdowns, with 43 on the season.

COLOR PHOTO: LARRY PHILLIPS/COLE PHOTOGRAPHY Rachael Tink, WATERLOO, IOWA Volleyball Rachael, a 6'1" senior middle hitter at Walnut Ridge Baptist Academy who will play next year for Northern Iowa, was selected as Iowa player of the year and was named to the all-district (north), all-Iowa Star Conference and all-metro first teams for the fourth straight year.

Track and Field I-Perfection, a junior long and triple jumper at Poly Prep Country Day in Brooklyn, won both the long (23'10") and triple (45'10") jumps at the New York Hispanic Games. His long jump distance--a meet record--is the best by a high school boy so far this season.
