Stevenson High, set the girls' state mark for point total in the all-around with a score of 39.275 at the regional championships. She won the all-around again at the sectional meet and led the Patriots to the title, for the second straight year.

Golf Kuyumjian, a senior at USC, won his first college individual title after shooting rounds of 68 and 67 en route to a career-low 206 at the Ping-Arizona Intercollegiate tournament. He finished two strokes up and boosted the Trojans to their second tournament win this year.

Smith Junior High, has guided the Rattlers to three district titles and one second-place finish in four seasons. Davis, who was given the job after the district experienced a coaching shortage, has a record of 91-14.

Track and Field Felicien, a freshman 60-meter hurdler for Illinois, broke an Illini and meet women's record with a time of 8.07 at the Iowa State Track Classic. It's also the fastest time by a college woman this year and second best on the alltime list of the Big Ten.

Kennedy High in Bloomington who will compete for Minnesota next year, broke a 22-year-old state record by winning his 130th consecutive match. He has won three state titles and is unbeaten since his freshman season.
