Caddie Cam There's a lot to like about looping on the Senior tour

I drove the cart for Tom Kite at the Senior tour event in
Birmingham a couple of weeks ago, and while tooling through the
gallery can be an adventure, it sure saves steps. One good ol'
boy screamed at me, "Slow that buggy down." But I gave it right
back to him, yelling, "Yo, home, I finished top 10 last week at
Talladega." There's a lot for a caddie to like about the
50-and-over league: no cut, only three rounds and no having to
lug overstuffed bags like the one Hubert Green's got on his
cart. Jim Colbert's lost his multicolored rugs, but there are
some fresh caddie nicknames that I heard: Cut 'Em Loose Bruce,
who's a member of the frequently fired club; Squirt Gun, who
made the mistake of trying to name himself Top Gun; and
Port-O-Let, who's built like one and is full of it. Playing late
on Sunday again was especially cool. When Kite holed out from a
bunker for eagle on the last hole to tie for third place, it
funded one week's stay in Costa Rica, which I consider heaven.

Linn Strickler, a.k.a. Growler, is a veteran Tour caddie.
