A four-time All-America, he finished this season as the NAIA's top-ranked player.

Catherine, who will attend Texas on an athletic scholarship, ended her high school career with 1,141 whiffs and a .098 ERA.

Water Polo McCarthy-Beauvais, a sophomore two-meter man at Princeton, broke the Tigers' women's career scoring record when she surpassed senior teammate Katherine Kixmiller's mark of 159. McCarthy-Beauvais, who now has 176 goals, was named MVP at the ECAC and southern divisional tournaments.

Track and Field Joseph, a senior at Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, won the Division III outdoor title in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 51.72. Joseph, who was third in the 400 sprint at the indoor championships, was named the division's male outdoor track athlete of the year in the Central Region.
