Swimming Eubank, 85, set an 85-89 age group world record of 15:24.82 for the 800-meter freestyle, breaking the old mark by more than 14 seconds. He also established national masters records for his age group in the 200 and 400 freestyle with times of 3:18.37 and 7:12.16, respectively.

Rhythmic Gymnastics Lisa, 12, won the all-around junior national title with a score of 85.850, beating runner-up and defending champ Brenann Stacker, 14, of Lincolnshire, Ill., by 0.95 points. She won gold in the ball and the ribbon, silver in clubs and bronze in hoops. She was fourth all-around at the international Danube Cup.

Rowing Hoepp, 18, stroked the Boston Rowing Club junior eight-oared and four-oared boats to gold medals and the intermediate eight to the bronze at the national championships.
