Water Polo Nekton, 63, the boys' coach for 39 years at Phillips Exeter Academy, guided the Big Red to its fifth straight and his 20th New England championship, as Exeter extended its league win streak to 49 games. Nekton, also the boys' swimming coach for 39 years, has 10 New England titles in that sport.

He finished the regular season 15-0 en route to the state title. He also anchored the 4x1-mile team that won the national high school championship last spring.

Katie, who set school career marks in goals, assists and points, will play next year at Virginia.

Post, was named the most valuable player in the Northeast-10 Conference after leading the Pioneers to an 11-1 record and the league crown. He finished the season with 33 touchdowns and 2,536 rushing yards, third best in NCAA history.
