Ryan, who led the Rams to a 17-2 record and the Ohio Heartland Conference championship, will play for Tulsa next season.

Field Hockey Morris, a senior All-America forward at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Va., was named the Capital Athletic Conference player of the year for her 23 goals and 12 assists. She set a school record by getting 10 points in a 6-3 win over previously undefeated Salisbury (Md.) University.

Football Trimble, 38, the coach at Jenks High, guided the Trojans to a 38-28 victory over Putnam City North High that clinched the Class 6A state title. Trimble, whose teams have won the state championship in all six years he has coached Jenks High, has a 79-4 record, including 24-0 in the playoffs.
COLOR PHOTO: JIM MIDGETT Brittany Lang, MCKINNEY, TEXAS Golf Brittany, a junior at McKinney High, averaged 70.1 strokes a round to sweep the Lionettes' four fall tournaments and lead the team to a 3-1 record. A two-time junior All-America, she also won the Texace San Antonio Shootout and the Lucent Technologies Girls Junior Championship last summer.
COLOR PHOTO: SUSAN ALLEN SIGMON Joscelin Yeo, REPUBLIC OF SINGAPORE Swimming Yeo, a junior at Texas, placed first in a total of six individual and relay events over three meets to become the Big 12 female swimmer of the month. Yeo was a member of Cal's world-record-setting 200-meter-medley-relay team before transferring to Texas, which she has led to a No. 5 ranking.

Volleyball Kratochvil, a freshman outside hitter at the University of La Verne, had 18 kills and 28 digs to lead the Leopards to a 3-2 victory over Wisconsin-Whitewater in the Division III women's championship match. The West region freshman of the year, Kratochvil had a team-high 341 digs this fall.
