The Week In Television

SEPT. 12-18

FRIDAY 9/12 > ESPN 10 PM > Angels at Mariners
Last year the Angels were on their way to a World Series
championship. This year they're below .500 and the best they can
do is play spoiler, as the slumping Mariners remain in a tight AL
West--and wild-card--race.

SATURDAY 9/13 > ABC 3:30 PM > No. 15 Notre Dame at No. 5 Michigan
Get ready to bite your nails: The last 11 games between these two
teams have been decided by an average of 5.2 points--with Notre
Dame winning six of them.

SUNDAY 9/14 > SPEED 7:30 AM > Formula One Italian Grand Prix
A win at Monza would be buono for points leader Michael
Schumacher. He has a mere one-point lead in the standings, and
the race is on the home track of Michael's carmaker, Ferrari.

MONDAY 9/15 > ABC 9 PM > Cowboys (0-1) at Giants (1-0)
Tuna surprise? After a home loss in Week 1 new Cowboys coach Bill
Parcells leads Dallas into Giants Stadium, where he's gone 3-3 as
a visiting coach.

WEDNESDAY 9/17 > Espn2 2:30 PM > UEFA Champions League, Arsenal
vs. Inter Milan
The competition for Europe's best club begins with England's
Arsenal hosting Inter, the Italian power that lost top scorer
Hernan Crespo over the summer.

DON'T MISS

SUNDAY 9/14 > NBC 4 PM >
Gravity Games, Freestyle Motocross Final

Flyin' high again: Defending champ Travis Pastrana won gold at
last month's X Games with a move that included a 360-degree turn
and a backflip. His main competitor, Mike Metzger, last year
