Back from Boise Boosts Bears
Who is Brock Forsey, and what was he doing running for 134 yards
on Sunday? A 5'11", 205-pound rookie sixth-round draft pick,
Forsey made his second start, replacing the ailing Anthony
Thomas, in the Bears' 28-3 win over the Cardinals. "There are
always going to be people doubting you and saying, 'Look, he's
205 pounds, he's not the biggest guy, not the fastest guy,'" says
Forsey, who walked on at Boise State and scored 32 touchdowns as
a senior. "But I try to use that as motivation and prove people
wrong. That's what I did in college."... The saga of Patriots
quarterback Tom Brady continues: At Indianapolis on Sunday he
completed 16 of his first 18 passes, and then rebounded from two
ugly interceptions in the second half to throw a 13-yard strike
to wideout Deion Branch that won the game 38-34. Since becoming
the starter in 2001, Brady is 21-4 after Nov. 1.
