Here They Come

Here they come, the next ones, and so soon. FREDDY ADU, the
shining hope of American soccer, and MICHELLE WIE, one of the
longest hitters in women's golf, turned 14 in 2003, and
18-year-old LEBRON JAMES scored 37 points the other night for
the Cavaliers. Youth can be unstoppable--Diana Taurasi, 21, led
Connecticut to its 70th straight victory and second straight
NCAA title--but Marlins righty JOSH BECKETT, World Series MVP,
said the best part of being 23 is not knowing your limitations.
Of course, knowing them only makes victory sweeter, as in the
case of BILL PARCELLS, who returned to the NFL at 62, whipped
the sorry Cowboys into a playoff team and, just as amazingly,
smiled into the new year....
