Matt Kenseth NASCAR WINSTON CUP CHAMPION
The NASCAR points system was designed to reward consistency, and
seldom has a driver been as consistent as Matt Kenseth was in
2003. The 31-year-old Wisconsin native won only once, but with 25
top 10 finishes he ran circles around his rivals--and when he
clinched the title with a fourth-place finish at Rockingham in
the season's penultimate race, he added a few celebratory infield
donuts.
