OFFENSE

Finished his career with his fourth bowl MVP award after
completing 37 of 45 passes for 475 yards and five TDs in a 56-26
rout of Kansas in the Tangerine Bowl.

RB Steven Jackson Oregon State Jr.

The Nevada native had a homecoming party in a 55-14 rout of New
Mexico in the Las Vegas Bowl, rushing for 149 yards and tying an
NCAA bowl record with five TDs.

RB P.J. Daniels Georgia Tech Soph.

Led the Yellow Jackets' 42-point second-half charge and finished
with 31 carries for 307 yards and four TDs in a 52-10 rout of
Tulsa in the Humanitarian Bowl.

WR Samie Parker Oregon Sr.

Despite his team's 31-30 loss to Minnesota in the Sun Bowl, the
speedy Parker was named the game's MVP for his 16-catch, 200-yard
effort.

WR Keary Colbert USC Sr.

While Michigan focused on star Mike Williams, Colbert turned in
the best performance in his career with six catches for 149 yards
and two TDs.

RT Cliff Woodruff Ole Miss Sr.

Provided excellent protection for QB Eli Manning (no sacks) and
cleared holes for RB Tremaine Turner (133 yards) in a 31-28
Cotton Bowl win over Oklahoma State.

RG Jacob Bell Miami (Ohio) Sr.

Gave RedHawks QB Ben Roethlisberger enough time to throw for 376
yards and four TDs as Miami dominated Louisville 49-28 in the
GMAC Bowl.

LT Robert Gallery Iowa Sr.

The Outland winner served up plenty of pancakes as the Hawkeyes
rolled up 408 yards of offense in a 37-17 domination of Florida
in the Outback Bowl.

LG C.J. Brooks Maryland Jr.

Helped Terps QB Scott McBrien (381 yards passing, three TDs, one
rushing TD) have a career day in a 41-7 pasting of West Virginia
in the Gator Bowl.

C Norm Katnik USC Sr.

Held off the Michigan blitz and gave QB Matt Leinart endless time
to throw as the Trojans racked up 410 yards of offense and moved
the ball at will in the Rose Bowl.

TE Tim Euhus Oregon State Sr.

Helped tame the New Mexico blitz and clear the way for Beavers
running back Steven Jackson. He also caught seven passes for 121
yards in a Las Vegas Bowl victory.

K Tyler Fredrickson Cal Sr.

After missing his last five attempts heading into the Insight
Bowl, Fredrickson kicked a 42-yarder as time expired to give the
Bears a 52-49 win over Virginia Tech.

DEFENSE

On a Tigers' defensive line that dominated Oklahoma, Spears was
special with a sack, a tackle for loss and an interception that
he returned 20 yards for a score.

DE Kenechi Udeze USC Jr.

With blinding speed off the edge, the 6'4", 285-pound stud had
three sacks as the Trojans staked their claim to No. 1 in the
Rose Bowl win over Michigan.

DT Vince Wilfork Miami Jr.

Had seven tackles (two for loss) and helped limit Florida State's
running game to 110 yards as the Hurricanes edged their rival
16-14 in the Orange Bowl.

DT Garrett McIntyre Fresno State Soph.

Starred on defense in the Bulldogs' 17-9 upset of UCLA in the
Silicon Valley Bowl, with a sack, a tipped pass and a tackle for
loss on fourth-and-inches.

LB A.J. Hawk Ohio State Soph.

The Buckeyes ballhawk made 10 tackles and helped hold Kansas
State running back Darren Sproles to 38 yards in an impressive
35-28 Fiesta Bowl victory.

LB Caleb Miller Arkansas Sr.

The 6'2", 225-pounder had 16 tackles, 10 solo, and helped slow
down Missouri's stellar QB Brad Smith in a 27-14 win over the
Tigers in the Independence Bowl.

LB Ahmad Brooks Virginia Fr.

With 12 tackles, two for loss, Brooks was in Pitt QB Rod
Rutherford's face all day and helped derail the Panthers' offense
in a 23-16 Continental Tire Bowl victory.

SS Dave Revill Utah Sr.

In a 17-0 Liberty Bowl win over Southern Miss, he forced a fumble
and had two sacks, including a key stop on fourth-and-two in the
fourth quarter.

FS T.J. Stancil Boston College Jr.

He picked a good time to have his best game, tripling his career
interception total with three in the Eagles' 35-21 San Francisco
Bowl victory over Colorado State.

CB Justin Miller Clemson Soph.

In an impressive 27-14 upset of Tennessee in the Peach Bowl, he
was the Tigers' star in the secondary, making eight tackles and
breaking up three passes.

CB Will Poole USC Sr.

Clamped down on Michigan when it mattered and had two sacks and a
forced fumble in a blitz package that stifled the Wolverines'
high-powered offense.

P Kyle Basler Washington State Soph.

Was the defensive MVP in a 28-20 Holiday Bowl win over Texas
after averaging 40.1 yards per punt and putting five inside the
Longhorns' 20.

LSU Unfazed by the BCS controversy, Saban's Tigers played smart
and wreaked havoc on defense to win a piece of the national title.
