McCants can be a little too temperamental, and Gordon is
sometimes too deferential, but both can score points in a hurry.
Gordon, a 6'3" junior, is shooting 50.0% from three-point range
(50.8% overall), and his 19.4 points a game were fourth in the
Big East through Sunday. McCants, a 6'4" sophomore, has been in
and out of Roy Williams's doghouse this season (he was benched
for most of the final 13 minutes of the Tar Heels' 61-56 loss to
Kentucky on Jan. 3), but he is still leading the team in scoring
(17.2 points a game).
