7 The Intersection
Four Corners could also refer to the intersection of Avenida
Cesar Chavez and University Boulevard in Albuquerque. One corner
has the University of New Mexico's football stadium, another has
the Pit, and a third has the Triple A park. What's on the fourth
corner? Parking.

The former hangout of Billy the Kid gets 350 sunny days a year
and is the state's SI Sportstown for having the best community
sports programs.

17 Charley Johnson
The former NFL quarterback heads the chemical engineering
department at his alma mater, New Mexico State, in Las Cruces.

The 2002 PGA Championship winner from Las Cruces played at New
Mexico State, where his father, Larry, is the coach.
