Stuart, a senior cornerback and wide receiver at Westminster High, scored on a 65-yard punt return, a 42-yard reception and a 36-yard interception to lead the Wildcats to a 27--15 win over Greater Atlanta Christian. He also ran back three kickoff returns for a total of 74 yards.

Brett Brach

FREEHOLD, N.J. > Baseball

Brett, a junior at Freehold Township High, was the winning pitcher for the Freehold Township All-Stars as they beat California 10--1 in the championship game at the Senior League World Series in Bangor, Maine. The righthander had a 9--0 record with 57 strikeouts in 52 innings.

Shana Woods

LONG BEACH, CALIF. >Track and Field

Shana, a junior at Long Beach Poly High, scored 5,052 points to break a 12-year-old record and win the gold medal in the heptathlon (intermediate division) at the USATF National Junior Olympic championships in Eugene, Ore. She finished with personal bests in six of the seven events in which she competed.

Jocelyn Savastano

PLYMOUTH, MASS.> Soccer

Savastano, a sophomore forward at Saint Anselm, scored seven goals in an 8--0 victory over New England College, tying a NCAA Division II single-game record and setting a Northeast10 Conference and school record. The 2003 NE-10 freshman of the year leads the Hawks in goals scored and points.

Levi Cyr

FALMOUTH, MAINE > Archery

Levi, a seventh-grader at Falmouth Middle School, won the bowman male compound (youth division) overall and set 10 national records at the National Archery Association's National Target Championships in Reading, Pa. The win gave him his third national title this year.

JENKINTOWN, PA.> Field Hockey

Link, a sophomore midfielder at Virginia, scored four goals and had two assists in an 8--2 win over Bucknell, and two goals in a 3--0 victory over Appalachian State. She was named to the national honor roll by womensfieldhockey.com and is leading the team in goals scored and points.
