Javon, a senior running back at Chaminade-Julienne High, rushed for a career-best 372 yards and scored five touchdowns in a 42-12 win over Purcell-Marian. He has 1,763 yards and 22 touchdowns for the season and is on pace for his third 2,000-yard season.

MIDLAND, TEXAS > Soccer

Washburn, a freshman forward at Harding, scored a school-record seven game-winning goals in the season's first 10 games. She has eight goals and four assists for 20 points, helping the Lady Bisons to a 11-2-1 start.

Jennifer Gandolph
GREENWOOD, IND. > Volleyball

Gandolph, a senior outside hitter at Michigan, had 12 digs and 16 kills in a win over Purdue, bringing her career kills to a school-record 1,385. She has three straight double double (kills and digs) matches for the 14-3 Wolverines and is their alltime leader in attempts and digs.

Brent Egbert
BELLINGHAM, WASH. > Soccer

Egbert, a senior midfielder at Seattle Pacific, scored two goals in a 3-2 victory over Humboldt State, extending his point-scoring streak to nine games through Oct. 2. He leads the 9-2-1 Falcons with 11 goals, five assists and 27 points for the season.

HAYWARD, WIS. > Golf

Kelsie, a freshman at Hayward High, led the Hurricanes to the Heart O'North Conference co-championship, was first on the all-conference team with 89 points and was named its player of the year. In July she won the girls' state Junior PGA 14-and-under title.

Gregory Harper
WALNUT CREEK, CALIF. > Triathlon

Gregory, a seventh-grader at Walnut Creek Intermediate, won a third age-group triathlon title (200-meter swim, 6.2-mile bike ride, 1.2-mile run) at the IronKids national championships. He also set USA Pacific records in the 200meter butterfly and 1,500-meter freestyle.
