Pack's Walker Breaking Out

DISPATCHES

Javon Walker continues to show that he's making the transition from a good receiver to a great one. After his eight-catch, 129yard performance in the Packers' 41--20 rout of the Cowboys, Walker leads the NFL with 726 receiving yards. With his size (6'3", 220) and speed, Walker is becoming a magnet for Brett Favre's passes.... When a great pass rush meets a quarterback with the mobility of a statue, here's what happens: Drew Bledsoe was sacked four times and threw four interceptions in Buffalo's 20--6 loss to the Ravens. "Bledsoe ran into a purple haze," said Ravens outside linebacker Terrell Suggs, who had two of the sacks.... In their 13--7 win over the Jets on Sunday, the Patriots forced a turnover for the 21st consecutive game (recovering a fumble). The last time New England didn't have one? On Sept. 28, 2003--which also happens to be the last time the Pats lost a game (20--17 to the Redskins).
