Jensen, a senior forward at Dowling College, set a school single-season record of 26 goals, eight of them game-winners. He also had 15 assists and 67 points. He led the Golden Lions to the NCAA Northeast Regional title and was New York Collegiate Athletic Conference player of the year.
Donja Bobbitt

Bobbitt, a senior outside hitter at Presbyterian College, had 11 digs and a match-high 19 kills in a four-game win over Lenoir-Rhyne College, giving the Lady Blue Hose the 2004 South Atlantic Conference tournament championship. She was named the tournament's most valuable player.
Katie Pettigrew
FARMINGTON, N.MEX. > Soccer
Pettigrew, a senior forward at Luther College, set an NCAA Division III career record for goals (124) and points (297). Playing with pneumonia, she scored three goals in a 5--0 victory over Buena Vista University to give the Norse the Iowa Conference championship.
Chinedu Okoro
CHICAGO > Football
Okoro, a reserve junior quarterback at Tuskegee, completed 15 of 26 passes for 301 yards and threw three touchdowns to give the Golden Tigers a 41--15 win over Kentucky State and a trip to the Pioneer Bowl. He was named Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference player of the week.
Sarah Smith
LYNDEN, WASH. > Cross-country
Smith, a freshman at Pacific, ran a 6,000-meter course in 22:26.80 to win the NCAA Division III West Regional by 22 seconds. On Oct. 30 she set a school and course record of 21:25.80 to become the first freshman to win the Northwest Conference title.
Andy Santerre
HARRISBURG, N.C. > Auto Racing
Santerre, 36, drove his Chevrolet to a fifth-place finish at the MBNA America 150 at Dover International Speedway and clinched his third straight NASCAR Grand National, Busch North Series Championship. He is third on the alltime series win list with 21 career victories.
