The Questions with Dwan Edwards

Ravens Defensive Tackle

What was your welcome-to-the-NFL moment?
The first time I went against [Baltimore's 6'7", 360-pound tackle] Orlando Brown in practice. You line up against a guy like Zeus, and you had better have your technique down and go as hard as you can, or you'll get hurt.

Most embarrassing moment?
They called me Big Circus at Oregon State. Me and some friends went to a circus with some girls. We got our picture taken, and it wound up on this girl's refrigerator. One of the guys on the team saw it, and they tried to embarrass me about it. The nickname stuck all through college, like I love the circus so much I went every day.

Favorite off-day activity?
I love going to the movies, like when I saw Collateral. It's good. I can vouch for it.

If I weren't in the NFL, I'd be ...
"I have my business degree, so I would have gotten an internship."

Last Week

Edwards and the Ravens lost 24-3 in the New England mud.

This Week

Baltimore hosts Cincinnati, including Edwards's former Oregon State teammates receivers T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Chad Johnson and cornerbacks Terrell Roberts and Dennis Weathersby.
