Hula Bowl ESPN2 7 p.m. | Local hero Timmy Chang, the Hawaii QB, leads the West in this all-star game for college seniors. World Sprint Speedskating Championships | Chris Witty, world-record holder in the 1,000 meters, leads the field in Kearns, Utah.

SUNDAY 23

Subaru Primal Quest CBS 4 p.m. | Fifty-six coed teams bike, run and kayak over 400 miles in the Pacific Northwest. NFC Championship, Falcons at Eagles FOX 3 p.m. | For the fourth straight year the Eagles are one game from their first Super Bowl since 1981.

MONDAY 24

Dakar Rally OLN 10 p.m. | The world's most grueling off-road race lasts two weeks, passes through four African countries and covers 5,553 miles. It was held earlier this month, and NASCAR driver Robby Gordon became the first American to win a stage in the car division.

TUESDAY 25

Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel HBO 10 p.m. | A segment features former NFL defensive lineman Esera Tuaolo (now a recording artist), who retired in 1999 and came out as gay three years later. The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson 12:37 a.m. | Joe Montana stops by.

WEDNESDAY 26

Happy Birthday! | Bob Uecker turns 70. In six seasons as a catcher in the majors (1962--67) Ueck hit exactly .200. He's about to start his 35th year as a radio voice for the Brewers, the team that honors him at every game by selling obstructed-view seats for $1.

THURSDAY 27

No. 10 Washington at No. 13 Arizona Fox Sports Net 8:30 p.m. | Center Channing Frye (14.3 points per game) leads the Wildcats in rebounding (8.2 per game). World Juggling Federation Championships ESPN2 5 p.m. | The new WJF holds its signature event.
