Australian Open, Women's Final ESPN2 9:30 p.m. | A new queen is crowned; 2004 champ Justine Henin-Hardenne sat out with a knee injury. NCAA Hockey, No. 6 New Hampshire at No. 13 UMass Lowell 7 p.m. | The River Hawks are unbeaten in their last 13 games.

SATURDAY 29

Winter X Games ESPN 9 p.m. | The four-day event kicks off as 18-year-old Hannah Teter defends her gold in the women's snowboard superpipe. On This Day | In 1963 the Pro Football Hall of Fame elected its 17 charter members. The next class will be announced on Feb. 5.

SUNDAY 30

Houston Rockets at Miami Heat ABC 1 p.m. | The top two All-Star vote-getters, Yao Ming and Shaquille O'Neal, go head-to-head. Las Vegas Marathon | NASCAR drivers Mike Waltrip and Kyle Petty join 10,000 runners in a jaunt around Sin City--and down the Strip.

On this Day | In 1989 Loyola Marymount beat U. S. International 181--150, breaking the D-I record for points. Hank Gathers scored 41. Women's Basketball, No. 19 Georgia at No. 5 Tennessee ESPN2 7 p.m. | UT faces freshman phenom Tasha Humphrey.

TUESDAY 1

Fearless: Greg LeMond OLN 5 p.m. | Before Lance Armstrong, LeMond was the Tour de France's comeback kid. After becoming the first American to win the Tour, in 1986, Lemond recovered from a near fatal accidental shooting to win again in '89.

WEDNESDAY 2

Super Bowl XXIII, 49ers vs. Bengals ESPN Classic 4:30 p.m. | Niners fans can relive the glory days as Joe Montana leads San Francisco to its third Super Bowl win of the '80s. Suns at Timberwolves 8 p.m. | MVP candidates Steve Nash and Kevin Garnett tangle.

THURSDAY 3

Happy Birthday! | Bob Griese turns 60. The Hall of Fame QB, who led Miami to two Super Bowl wins, just finished his 19th year of broadcasting college football for ABC. Griese, who has three sons, including Buccaneers QB Brian, lives in Coral Gables, Fla., with his wife, Shay.
