The Questions with Quentin Richardson Suns Guard

What was your welcome-to-the-NBA moment? Right after the draft [in 2000] I was playing in Alonzo Mourning's charity event, Zo's Summer Groove, and already they had me doing rookie stuff. They had me and Darius Miles blindfolded, and we had to do that stuff they do at halftimes [in NBA arenas], like find a ball. Stephon Marbury was moving it around every time we got close.

Your favorite off-day activity? Chilling with family and watching movies. Sometimes me and my fiancée, Brandy [yes, the Brandy], take the baby [her daughter, Sy'rai] to Chuck E. Cheese's.

If I weren't in the NBA, I'd be ... On the big screen, being funny. I'm silly like that, and I've got a smile made for TV.

If I were commissioner for a day, I'd ... Cater everything to the players. Some rules are stiff. You can't wear different colored shoes [from your teammates']. You can't wear different colored headbands. We're individuals. Allow us to be individual.
