THEN AND NOW
LAST WEEK, highly touted amateur Ryan Moore, 22, made his pro debut at the Barclays Classic at Westchester Country Club. Thirty-three years ago another top-rated, 22-year-old amateur, Tom Kite, began his pro career at the same tournament, then known as the Westchester Classic. Kite went on to win 19 Tour events, including the '92 U.S. Open. Here's how things have changed--or not--between the two professional debuts.
