Lyn-z Adams Hawkins makes another great leap forward for female skaters
"She's always climbed the tallest tree and gone down the biggest slide," says Lynn Adams of her daughter, Lyn-z. And how. Last year, Lyn-z, 15, a four-time X Games medalist, became the first female skater to clear the 55-foot gap on Danny Way's California megaramp.
"I just had to mentally know I could do it," says Lyn-z of her feat. Look for Lyn-z to add to her medal haul in L.A. --Erika Kelsey
