The Questions with Joe Horn
What was your welcome-to-the-NFL moment
When [linebacker] Derrick Thomas told me I had to pay rent to have a locker next to his. By paying rent he meant, making plays. If I didn't make plays on special teams, he was going to kick me out of the locker.
Your most embarrassing moment?
Going in motion against Seattle when I was with the Chiefs. The snap count was on two. I went up the field when quarterback Elvis Grbac was still into his cadence. Everyone was standing still, looking at me.
Favorite off-day activity
I hang out with my six children. I wanted eight, but I'm stopping at six.
If I weren't in the NFL, I'd be ...
Working a 9-to-5 somewhere. Anywhere legal. I'd have a legitimate J-O-B. Whether at McDonald's, a furniture factory, whatever. As long as I was taking care of my family.
It I were commissioner for a day, I'd ...
Cut the preseason down by at least two games.
Last Week
Horn caught two passes for 28 yards in a 37--27 win over the Patriots last Thursday.
