Cory, a sophomore at O'Dea High, shot a 10-under-par 60 at Jefferson Park, a course record from the white tees, to help the Irish win the Metro League boys' golf championship. His 50-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole earned his team the title. He was named athlete of the week by both Seattle dailies.

SHAWNEE MISSION, KANS. > Tennis
Colleen, a senior at Bishop Miege High, completed her second consecutive undefeated season, with a 23-0 record and winning her second straight Kansas high school 5A girls' singles title. She has not lost a set in two years of high school matches and is currently the top-ranked USTA girls' 18 singles player.

Juraj Zatovic
NOVAKY, SLOVAKIA > Water Polo
Zatovic, a senior two-meter defender at USC, scored five goals in a 10-3 victory against UC Santa Barbara to reach 193 career goals and become the Trojans' alltime leading scorer. A week later he scored another five goals in a 13-9 win over Long Beach State. He leads his No. 1--ranked team with 49 goals for the season.

Allie Griffin
BATON ROUGE > Volleyball
Griffin, a senior right-side hitter at Colorado, was named Collegiate Volleyball Update national player of the week after leading the team in upsets over Kansas State and Texas A&M. She had a career-high 29 kills against the Wildcats and is the seventh Buffalo to reach 1,000 kills and 200 blocks.

Daryl Graham
DETROIT > Football
Graham, a sophomore tailback at Michigan Tech, rushed for 307 yards on 36 carries and scored four touchdowns in a 45-17 victory over Gannon, setting both school and Sherman Field single-game rushing records. He was named D2Football.com's national offensive player of the week.

Valerie Teter
BEVIER, MO. > Softball
Valerie, a junior righthander at Bevier High, pitched a no-hitter and struck out a school-record 17 batters in a 2-0 victory over Silex. The win gave the Wildcats their first state Class 1 softball championship. She finished the season with 311 strikeouts and an 0.32 ERA, allowing no earned runs in her final 15 games.
