Knowshon Moreno
MIDDLETOWN, N.J. > Football

Knowshon, a senior running back at Middletown South High, ended his high school career with 6,264 yards rushing, becoming the second player in New Jersey history to top 6,000 yards. He set state records for touchdowns (128) and points scored (782) and led the Eagles to a 45-3 record during his career.

Jason Garey
GONZALES, LA. > Soccer

Garey, a senior forward at Maryland, became the first Terp to win the M.A.C. Hermann Trophy, which honors the nation's top Division I soccer player. He led the nation with 22 goals and 51 points, helped the team to its first NCAA soccer title since 1968 and was named the offensive MVP at the College Cup.

Lindsay Caldwell
WEST BEND, WIS. > Swimming

Caldwell, a junior at Wisconsin-Milwaukee, won all seven events she entered and helped the Panthers take the team title at the Wheaton Invitational in Wheaton, Ill. She set meet records in the 50- and 200-yard freestyle events and was named Horizon League swimmer of the week for the second time this season.

Matt Hammer
ELKTON, S.D. > Basketball

Hammer, a senior forward at Northern State, averaged 22.5 points in a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference victories and helped raise the Wolves to a No. 5 ranking in Division II. He leads the 15-2 team in 11 categories, and he was named the NSIC player of the week for the second time this season.

Kelly Fitzpatrick

PALMYRA, PA. > Field Hockey
Kelly, a senior forward at Palmyra High, set a Pennsylvania record for goals in a season with 66 and helped the Cougars to a 26-1 record and their first Class AA state field hockey championship. She was named to the 2005 National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-America Team.

Michelle Stueve
OLPE, KANS. > Basketball

Stueve, a sophomore forward at Emporia State, has been the Lady Hornets' leading scorer in 15 of their 18 victories so far this season. She was named Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association player of the week and leads the conference in scoring (21.1 points per game) and rebounding (9.3).
