When I was atNebraska, they played a small theater in Lincoln. One of the guys, [guitaristand vocalist] Joe Don Rooney, is from Picher, Oklahoma, near my hometown. Iintroduced myself as a small-town kid from Oklahoma. And it just kind of tookoff from there. We all text message each other and give each other support,like when Rascal Flatts is getting awards on TV or when I've got a biggame.
On pregamesuperstitions
I'm not really asuperstitious guy, but I like fresh, comfortable socks. I don't like socks thatare worn out. I want to be on the field feeling as comfortable as I can.Sometimes socks are the biggest thing.
