Ford, a seniorguard at West Georgia, had 49 points in a 107-89 win over North Alabama,equaling the West Georgia record for scoring. He leads the 15-6 Braves inscoring, averaging 26.7 points, and was named Gulf South Conference DivisionEast player of the week for the third time this season.

WAYLAND, MASS. > Ice Hockey

Quandt, a seniorgoaltender at Boston College, made 78 saves on 82 shots over four straightleague wins, including a shutout against Vermont. She has helped thefirst-place Eagles to a 12-3-1 conference record and has twice been namedHockey East player of the week this season.

BRIDGEPORT, CONN. > Basketball

Beverly, afreshman forward at Hartford, had her fifth double double of the season,scoring 19 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in a 65-64 victory over Binghamton.She has helped the 17-2 Hawks put together a school-record-tying 11-game winstreak, and she has been America East rookie of the week seven times thisseason.

BELLE PLAINE, IOWA > Wrestling

Hinschberger, asenior 141-pounder at Wartburg College, took the individual title and led theundefeated, top-ranked Knights to the team championship at the 2006 NationalWrestling Coaches Association/Cliff Keen Division III National Duals. He wasnamed Outstanding Wrestler at the meet.

CHAMPAIGN, ILL. > Swimming

Ramirez, afreshman at Saint Louis University, won the 50- and 100-yard freestyle eventsat the Lindenwood Invitational. She has set or been a part of five schoolswimming records for the Billikins, who are undefeated in 13 dual meets thisseason. She is also a four-time Atlantic 10 Conference rookie of the week.

TALLAHASSEE > Gymnastics

Reavis, a seniorat Iowa, won the all-around title and finished first in the floor exercise,parallel and horizontal bars at a meet against Illinois-Chicago. He also tookthe all-around title at the Windy City Invitational and was Big Ten gymnast ofthe week. He is the first Hawkeye in 10 years named to the U.S. Senior Nationalteam.
