You couldn't tellfrom his performance at the Daytona 500--he finished 38th--but Nextel Cupdriver Kurt Busch is more aerodynamic this year. During the off-season Busch,27, underwent cosmetic surgery to have his ears pinned back to his head."[I'm] a little slicker," he said. "I've wanted to do it for a fewyears now but never had the time." Here are some other sports personalitieswho have been through what is known in the business as a rebuilding phase.

BRUCE JENNER
The former decathlete, who won Olympic gold in 1976, is a staple of websitesthat speculate about celebrities' cosmetic enhancements--but he has confessedonly to a rhinoplasty. "Yeah, I had the hook taken out of my nose 20 yearsago, and they're still talking about it," he told Florida Today in 2004."You live with it, you move on."

EDDIE (THE EAGLE)EDWARDS
After years of jokes about his Alpine chin and oh-so-British smile, the haplessski jumper from the 1988 Games had his face nipped and tucked in '96, at age32. "I'm still young, free and single, so I'm going to be hitting thenightspots now to get a woman," he said. "The only downside is they maynot recognize me anymore."

JERRY JONES
After cringing at a picture of his puffy self in 2000, the Cowboys' owner wenton a crash diet, dropping from 230 to 175--and most likely had surgery on hisface. "I'm not going to give you a straight answer," Jones, 63, oncesaid when asked if he had work done.

RICHIEADUBATO
The Washington Mystics' coach has found that hair is like the WNBA'sattendance: Even with a financial commitment it doesn't grow. He has said he'shad several hair transplants.

JOANIELAURER
The actress, formerly known as Chyna when she was a WWF wrestler, has had atleast two rounds of breast implants--one ruptured in the ring--and a jawjob.

NAM HYUN-HEE
The South Korean fencer was suspended for six months for getting cheekimplants. (She has yet to debut her new face.) "We have to be morestrict," said a South Korean official after Nam missed practice. "Whatare other athletes thinking when a fellow athlete is lounging around because ofplastic surgery?"
