Francena, a senior at Bethel High, won the 300 meters at the Virginia TechInvitational in 36.96 seconds, lowering the girls' national high school recordby .63 of a second. She also won the 55 meters in 6.92 seconds at the PeninsulaDistrict indoor track and field meet, the fastest time in the state thisseason.

Sigman, a senior heavyweight at Nebraska-Omaha, won his 67th consecutive match,leading the Mavericks to a 23-17 victory over Augustana and their firstundefeated season in 36 years. A three-time NCAA Division II national champion,he is undefeated this season, with 39 wins and 17 pins.

Cranford, a freshman middle hitter at Stevens Institute of Technology, wasnamed Sports Imports/American Volleyball Coaches Association Division IIInational player of the week after leading the Ducks to four wins and thechampionship trophy at the Stevens Invitational. He is the first Stevens men'splayer to win the national award.

Bodrick, a freshman forward at Thiel College, scored a Tomcats-record 51 pointsin a 92-89 overtime win over Bethany. Her point total is the most in anydivision of NCAA women's basketball this season, and it ties her for 15th onthe Division III women's all-time list. She was named to D3hoops.com's team ofthe week.

Cox, a junior at West Virginia, was named East Atlantic Gymnastics Leaguegymnast of the week after tying the league's highest all-around score of theseason. She scored personal season highs in all four of her events in theMountaineers' first-place finish at a four-team meet in their home gym.
