The women's work is already done: They dispatched Minnesota 3-0 intheir NCAA final. Said sophomore Jinelle Zaugg (above), "We say in thelocker room that Wisconsin is the new state of hockey."

Perhaps he'llstart going by Elvys Hernandez. The onetime ace of the Royals showed up in camp30 pounds overweight. After a spring of fat pitches--five homers in 12innings--the Royals placed him on the disabled list, citing concerns about hisweight and stamina.

After beingwalloped by the Pacers on Sunday, Philadelphia, losers of eight of 10, was fivegames under .500. And don't look back: The Bulls are just 1 1/2 games behindthem for the last East playoff spot.
